Library

The school library is the hub of intellectual activities and is rich in reading material and reference resources which provide information and ideas that are fundamental to functioning successfully in today`s information and knowledge-based society. The school has a well-equipped reading room cum library and the facility exists for issuing books to the students. Reference books, encyclopedia books on general knowledge, magazines, periodicals and daily newspapers are also available.

Computer Lab

Shemford Futuristic School, Islampur, Nalanda has a dedicated teaching lab with the latest computers and expert teachers. Computer classes in schools are important for well- rounded education.

Science Lab

Shemford School has an extensive science lab which provides an experimental foundation for the concepts introduced. Students enhance their learning by doing varied experiments which illuminates their interest visually and kinesthetically. It enables the learners to familiarise themselves with experimental apparatus. Scientific methods applied and to make careful observations and draw conclusions in relation to the experiment. Composite Lab for secondary and individual labs like Physics, Chemistry and Biology for higher secondary.

Maths Lab

Maths Lab provides opportunities for children to enjoy Mathematics, understand its basic structure, pose and solve meaningful problems. It is a place where a Maths teacher can demonstrate a lot of concepts through various interactive physical tools.

Sports and Fitness

Every student at Shemford School undergoes a general fitness program that includes weekly yoga and aerobics classes. The students are given opportunities to excel and join the school sports team. We include the following games in our curriculum like Cricket, Football, Basketball, tennis, Volleyball, Badminton, carrom, chess, ludo etc.

In today`s competetive world children need skill sets which are beyond subject knowledge and require concentration assimilation and retention. In this regard the role of smart classes is quite important.The students of Shemford Futuristic School are availing smart classes for better learning support. Our smart classes comprise the use of all interactive modules like videos and presentations which are appealing to students. Watching highly engaging visuals and animations makes learning enjoyable for students while improving their overall academic performance in school.

Medical care

We at Shemford School believe that a healthy brain lives in a healthy body. Thus, to ensure that our students are strong & robust we arrange time to time routine checkup of the students by a Doctor for maintaining good health. Students have been provided R.O water for drinking.
